NATE ROMERO
Executive Director
As the founder of CLiR, Nate is responsible for spearheading all consulting and investment banking activities.
Prior to founding CLiR in 2020, Nate was the Managing Director - Head of Sales and Marketing at Evolv Capital Partners, a third-party distribution and marketing firm whose list of clients include Gladstone, CIM Group, OFS Capital, and AmCap Management. During his tenure at Evolv, he helped lead the sales team through multiple successful capital raises of non-traded preferred stock offerings and acquired his investment banking license to better focus on product development. Nate began working with alternative investments, including REITs, BDCs, and Oil and Gas programs as the Regional Vice President to the Southeast with Realty Capital Securities, who at time were one of the largest and most successful sponsors in the space. Prior to making the jump to alternative investments, Nate began his wholesaling career in 2010 when he helped run the most successful independent broker/dealer territory in MetLife’s Investors Annuity Division, selling over $270 million of variable annuities in 2011. Nate comes from a family with a long history in financial services and entered the family business in 2006 with LPL Financial.
As a California native, Nate graduated Cum Laude from Chapman University where he met his wife Abbie. They currently live in Denver with their two dogs. Nate holds Series 7, 79, 65 and 63 licenses.
